Searching for our roots, our ancestors, where we came from is like a giant jigsaw puzzle. Family can supply a wealth of information but then we must search in other areas and the Internet has proven to be a goldmine and a mine field for those searches. Incorrect information and correct information are both to be found on-line.
One of the greatest pleasures is making contact with living relatives. Some of them so distant in relationship that under normal circumstances there would be nothing in common. But now the search is a binding factor in helping to form new relationships.
I have received information from a number of sources. Ted Simmons, Jean Harris and Carl Branstetter have provided pictures and information. Dr. Paul D. Branstetter has also filled in a lot of gaps to make this a more complete collection of information.
